Taking Over

I have had sooooo much to blog about recently but haven’t had the computer to do it.  Tony has his laptop that he has been using for months now (since our computer crashed) but I’ve always seen that as “his” and therefore just not comfortable using it.  But I’ve had it!  I’ve reached that place where I just can’t take it anymore!!!  I’ve got to get all this posted.  I’ve taken over the laptop.  It might take me a few days to get it all barfed up posted.  Which might be a good thing since it might get me back in the habit of posting.  I’ll start by going backwards.  Wanna post the things most recently on my mind while they are still fresh.

Yesterday, in the mail, we found a gift.  You see, we’ve been part of one of those movie clubs for a while now.  Every so often we forget to decline the month’s featured (sent to you, while they bill you for it, without you really wanting it) movie.  Last month, we forgot.  So our rather expensive gift arrived.  It was not one that I would have purchased on my own, but I’m kinda glad it happened.  We got TWO movies instead of the regular one.  One of them, I really wanted to see but didn’t want to really pay for since I didn’t think the kids would ever be interested.  It was Winnie the Pooh.  My kids jumped on it and were instantly begging to watch it.  Sweet!  We popped it in after dinner and sat and watched it.  The joy started almost instantly….for ME!  I LOVED Winnie the Pooh growing up and this new movie was doing it great justice.  It wasn’t even ten minutes into the movie that I knew this movie would soon be a favorite for the monkeys.  They were laying on the floor giggling like…well, children.  They loved it!!  The other movie in the package did not go unnoticed by them and as soon as Pooh was over they wanted to watch it too.  Dumbo.  There was much joy over this one as well.  So we now have two new movies to shove in the DVD case.  Like we didn’t have enough of those already….  As soon as we got to recess time on this rainy day, they were back there watching Dumbo again.  And as soon as school was over, they were back at it, finishing up Dumbo and watching Pooh again.  Here is what I was able to capture today during Dumbo:
