I've been tackling things around here little bits at a time. Painting the living room; when ever I think I have 5 minutes and won't make a mess I'll slap a little more up there. The yard; while waiting for the school bus I'll pull some weeds or like today (Tony will be proud) I cleaned half the backyard so I could rotate the dog/kid toys and put down weed and feed. Hope's scrapbook; when Hope is occupied I'll do a page or two and then leave the mess out for next time. Detailed cleaning around the house; if Hope makes a mess on the floor I'll clean the carpet within reach or if I pull the dryer lint out and swiffer the mess I'll go ahead and do the whole bathroom/laundry room dusting. I'm not getting anything "done" but I still feel like I'm doing something. As flylady says, baby steps.
Here are some cute videos from our break in the backyard after cleaning (picking poo, moving toys, and raking dead grass and needles) and before running the kids inside to apply the weed 'n' feed. Hope is walking so much more this week. Just in the last three or four days. Makes me HATE this deployment more.
FYI: Gabe is quoting the movie "Oklahoma." He is still in his jammies. And his pants are on backwards....
